Weeks 1 and 2

Week 1 ~ August 14, 2007

Well,  over lunch hour today I rode the bike for 20 minutes.  I didn’t die.

I’m thinking that once a week I’ll ride the bike and also do Yoga as well.  I had done Yoga for almost 4 years, but once Kaitlyn was too big for Mom/Baby Yoga, I haven’t gone back.    It’s been almost a year and that’s what kept the weight stable.

Week 2 ~ August 22, 2007

Today I did it again.  I went home and used the exercise bike.  20 minutes, average speed 10 mph and “rode” 3 miles.  Again, I didn’t die, but  certainly thought that my butt bone was going to fall off.

So far, I’ve been able to stick to the once a week thing.  Hopefully if all goes well, I’ll up it to twice a week exercising starting October.

I will be taking the first week of September off.  We will be gone for the week.  We should be able to get out and walk though.
