15 Minutes 2.21-2.22

15 Minutes 2.21 was Wii fit.  the In-laws were here over the weekend and I was showing her the Wii Fit.

  • Rhythmic Boxing ~ 6 minutes
  • Advance Hula Hoop (3 minutes)
  • Bubble walk
  • Penguin slide

15 minutes 2.22 was shopping at the grocery store.

I’m throwing in the towel for the rest of this week.  It’s not so enjoyable when I feel I HAVE to do it and not because I WANT to do it.  I know it’s only 15 minutes, but still.  I enjoy reading the paper and catching up on DVR’ed shows over my lunch hour or out running errands.

15 minutes 2.20

Another mostly non work out day.  We did convert Little Man’s toddler bed into a full bed, so I did some lifting and carrying of the box spring and mattress.  We also did some walking in Bed, Bath & Beyond.  The matress pads were in the very far corner of the doors.  Go figure.

I’m hoping to get on the Wii fit tomorrow.

15 minutes 2.18-2.19

15 minutes 2.18 was a kind of non-day.  :(   no formal work-out but I did do some housework, not a whole lot though.  Mostly folding laundry and putting some away (not all though) and picking up toys and books.  A neverending job!

15 minutes 2.19 was a late Namaste Yoga episode practice.  It felt good.  :)

15 Minutes 2.15-2.17

Sunday was a Wii fit day, but that was three days ago and I don’t remember all what I did.

  • Advanced Step (two times)
  • Rhythmic Boxing (6 minutes or 10 minutes, I can’t remember)

I’m sure there was more, but I can’t remember.

Monday was an evening practice, while the kids were eating dinner.  I did McDonald’s Core DVD.  No stability Ball, up for a challenge.

Tuesday:   I used the Step DVD that came with my step platform.  it was 30 minutes including warm- ups and cool-down.  It just reinforces how uncoordinated I am.  I was able to muddle through the Basic step, but it wasn’t pretty at all!

15 minutes 2.13-2.14

15 minutes 2.13 was The McDonald’s Strength DVD.  Ease me into it with no handweights, although I did use them.

15 minutes 2.14 was Wii Fit.

  • Advance Hula Hoop (10 minutes) ~ Boy was I getting weary towards the end.
  • Advance Step ~ I missed a few steps :(
  • Balance Bubble (advanced) 3 times~ Still didn’t make it all the way through
  • Tight Rope Walk (expert) twice.  Didn’t make it very far
  • Push-up Challenge (10 reps) trainer gave up
  • Plank Challenge (61 seconds) I gave up
  • Body Test.  Monkey music ~ Wii Fit Age 39

15 minutes 2.12

I’ve been good at getting up when hubby goes to work (5:30).  Today I did 15 Minutes of Fitness for Dummies ab series which involves many, many crunches!!

I’ve also organized my pages a bit.  Including links to the kid pages on my main parents page link for my “WoYoPracMo” and “McDonald’s 15 Minute DVD” pages.  If you see anything that doesn’t make sense, let me know and I can make my blog better for you!  After my workout this morning, I viewed the McDonald’s Cardio DVD, so all the different variations are listed.  Yoga is complete as well.

15 minutes 2.11

ugh…  This morning I woke up at 2:45 to go potty.  I’ve been awake ever since.  When I laid back down in bed, I was wide awake.  i told myself, if I’m still awake at 3:30, I’m getting up to go downstairs to work.  I couldn’t get comfortable, so around 3:15 I got up, grabbed my fleece and glasses, and headed downstairs to work.  I worked from 3:30 AM to 5:30 AM.  Just after 5:30, I decdied to wake myself up with a fitness video.  15 Minute Workouts for Dummies.  Included are 4-15 minute segments focusing on different body parts:  Thighs, Arms, Buns & Abs.  I chose Buns today.

Later this afternoon, while my computer was taken over remotely for a VPN addition, I had about 3 hours downtime.  In that time, I:

  • vacuumed
  • folded and put away two loads of laundry (one was leftover from last night)
  • Wii Fit:  Jackknife Challenge; Plank challenge; Lunges (15 reps)

among other things, like eating lunch and reading yesterday’s newpaper.  :)

15 Minutes 2.10

Today I used the Wii Fit.  I woke up early this morning, but instead of actual exercise, I was watching the 15 Minute Yoga DVD so I can write down what the different series are.

This evening, I Wii Fit:

  • Single Leg Extension (10 reps)
  • Pushup/Side plank (6 reps)
  • Torso Twist (6 reps)
  • Jackknife (20 reps)
  • Super Hula Hoop (6 minutes)
  • Bubble walk (advanced.  I popped and didn’t make it through)

Woke up early and did 15 Minutes DVD.

No balance ball; Ease me into it:

  • Crunch (10 reps)
  • Crunch Pulse (8 reps)
  • Side Crunch Right (10 reps)
  • Side Crunch Left (10 reps)
  • Repeat
  • Hundreds
  • Rest
  • Kneeling Spinal Balance
  • Child’s Pose
  • Plank
  • Rest
  • Modified Side Plank
  • Rest
  • Saw
  • Double Crunches (10 Reps)
  • Knees to Chest
  • Knees Drop to Side

edited:  I played Wii Fit tonight and this is what I did:

  • Boxing (6 minutes)
  • Hula Hoop
  • Tight Rope (advanced & Expert)  I made it across both!
  • Balance Bubble (advanced) and I unlocked expert
  • Plank Challenge (I won 40 seconds)
  • Plank (60 seconds)
  • Ski Jump
  • Penguin slide
  • Lotus Focus

15 minutes 2.8

Today I used the Wii Fit.  First time in about a week.  Ack!!  I did all the strength exercises that I unlocked.  I did unlock a new one:  Plank Challenge.  You hold plank in 10 second increments and try to outlast your trainer.  I’ve decided that I can’t do plank on my forearms, but I have to be up on my hands.  Go figure!
