15 minutes of fitness

Well, I am abandoning this for the last week of October.  Hubby is sick and I’ve been sick to.  Ugh.  Maybe I’ll modify this for November to be 15 minutes of fitness 3-4 times a week.

15 minutes of fitness (12, 13)

Friday night we bowled.  Fun stuff.  I bowled 98, 92 & 127 (I think).

Saturday Little Man had a soccer game.  We was on the very far field, so we had quite a hike.

15 minutes of fitness (11)

today was not set anything.  I have the resistance bad around my thighs and I’ve been using that periodically while sitting here at my desk.  I know that I’ve done at LEAST 15 minutes.  Maybe later this evening I’ll get some play time in with the kids too.

15 minutes of fitness (10)

I’m so proud of myself!  I’ve kept up with it, for the most part anyway.  Today i did the McDonald’s 15 minute cardio DVD.  With a step and ease me into it.  Well, for my step, I used an actual bottom step.  It worked, for the most part.  I was still just as lost as ever!

Our paper has a “Good Neighbors” feature where you can write if you are looking for something or if you have something to get rid of for someone else.  I’ve written in for a step aerobics stepper and some 3-5 lb hand weights.  We’ll see what happens when it prints.  Crossing fingers…

15 Minutes of fitness (9)

Today I skipped out of Pilates class and I opted to go get a flu shot instead.  I think that I shouldn’t have registered for that class, I miss it all the time.  :(

Today was pretty sunny, so I opted for a bike ride to Meijer’s.  I needed to order some prints from my digital photos.  I almost talked myself out of the bike ride, but I’m glad I did it.  Mileage:  3.454 miles.

Also, since last check in, I rode 6.837 miles before that for a total of 10.291.  Less than 1 mile was to the close park with the kids and the rest of that approximately 5.837 miles was hauling the kids to Little Man’s school to play.  It is so much more difficult pulling BOTH kids than it is to ride by myself.

15 Minutes of fitness (5-8)

Friday, Saturday & Sunday:  Those three days were spent walking.  I’m not sure if it amounted to 15 mintues each day, but I’m pretty sure I did on Sunday.  Sunday Little Man had a birthday party and we ewre ablw to walk there.

Monday:  Today I did 15 minute work out for Dummies VHS.  Thighs.  Squats, squats & more squats!

15 minutes of fitness (4)

Today was the strength DVD.  With weights and challenge me.  It was good.  I’m sure my thighs will be sore.  I also did some walking around.  Well, shopping to be precise.  Target & Dick’s.

15 minutes of fitness (3)

Day three:  I did the McDonald’s Core DVD.  No stability ball (I don’t have one) and challenge me!

My shoulders are sore from yesterday’s strength DVD.  We did Push ups.  ughhhhh.

15 minutes of fitness (1 & 2)

Day 1:  Monday, October 13th:  I didn’t get a chance to post, but I did my exercise or play with the kids.  And we ran around at the park that afternoon too.

Today is day 2:  Before lunch (Lean Cuisine squash ravioli) I did the McDonald’s 15 minute DVD ~ Strength.  Challenge, no wieghts.  It was good.

15 minutes of fitness

Starting Monday for the rest of the month.  I’m planning on doing fun fitness things on the weekend with the kids.  We managed to ride the bike Saturday and I can tell it had been a while since I’ve pulled BOTH kids.  I thought I was going to die going up the two hills.  Ughhh…  mileage to come up. 

Both kids don’t have school Monday.  one because of Columbus day and the other has a teachers in-service day.  We are going to Daddy’s work for lunch.  I might be crazy becasue I’m considering taking them there on the bike.  It’d be my most ambitious ride with the kids yet.
